Ingredients

  • 6 slices Brioche Bread
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • Cut each slice of brioche bread into bite-sized pieces by first cutting it into strips and then into cubes. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 eggs, 3/4 cup milk, 1 tbsp vanilla extract, 1 tbsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper (optional). Ensure the batter is well mixed and smooth.
  • In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tbsp cinnamon. Mix well and set aside for dipping the cooked French toast bites.
  • Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Dip each bread cube in the egg batter, letting it soak for about 3 seconds.
  • Place the soaked bread pieces in the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Work in batches if necessary.
  • Once cooked, immediately dip the French toast bites into the cinnamon sugar mixture, coating evenly.
  • Serve the French Toast Bites warm. Enjoy them as is, or with maple syrup, whipped cream, or your favorite dipping sauce!
